Getting here by train
Travelling by train from Sydney Central Station
The Self Realization Sevalight Centre is located directly opposite Rydal train station.
There are three trains daily to Rydal.
The first train is the Express Train (XPT) #427 which goes to Dubbo from Central Station. It leaves at 7.18 am and arrives in Rydal at 10 am. The train can also be boarded at Strathfield (7.30 am) Parramatta (7.43 am) Blacktown (7.53 am) Penrith (8.06 am) Katoomba (8.59 am) and Lithgow (9.40 am). This train returns from Rydal at 5.58 pm and arrives at Central Station at 8.44 pm. This train must be booked 24 hrs in advance by visiting the website www.nswtrainlink.info or by calling 13 22 32 between 6.30 am and 10 pm. Payment is made by credit card. You can also book at your local NSW TrainLink travel centre, Sydney train stations or an accredited travel agent. Once you have paid for your ticket you can choose to have it emailed to you, collect it on board (make sure you have your reference number) or have it posted to you. For your information, there is a dining car on this train.
The two other train services to Rydal are part of the Cityrail/Opal network. You can tap on/off with an Opal card or credit card.

Depart Central at 15.05 arriving Rydal at 17.54.
Departs Central at 17.47 arriving Rydal at 20.44.
The morning services to Sydney are:
Depart Rydal at 06.34 arriving Central at 08.42.
Depart Rydal at 09.27 arriving Central at 11.19.

Travelling by train from the airport
There are trains every 10 minutes from the airport terminals (International and Domestic) to Central Station. They depart close to where you come out of arrivals. Just follow the train signs. You will need to purchase a ticket or use an Opal/credit card for your journey. Please see above for train times to Rydal.
